Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager North West (Liverpool/Manchester) Competitive Salary + Car Allowance/Company Car + Bonus
We are working with a drinks wholesaler who are looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager with a love for the On Trade and strong relationship-building skills to join their continued growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in hospitality or the drinks industry looking to move into a field-based sales role within the On Trade sector.
The Role: Managing customer and partner relationships in line with the wider business strategy. Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to achieve and exceed annual targets. Working alongside valued supply partners, including leading drinks brands. Developing long-term customer relationships and understanding their business needs. Identifying new opportunities across the territory and supporting business growth. Delivering against agreed sales, distribution and profitability targets. Coordinating activity with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service. Monitoring territory performance and maintaining accurate reporting. Negotiating pricing, promotions and commercial agreements in line with company policy. Acting as a trusted partner to customers, supporting them to grow their business.

About You: Experience within the drinks industry or hospitality sector. A genuine passion for the drinks industry and strong knowledge of the UK On Trade. Strong relationship-building and customer management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A proven ability to deliver against targets and drive sales performance. Commercially aware with a proactive and organised approach. Comfortable working independently and managing a territory. Strong time management and attention to detail. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
