Senior Business Development Manager
Powercargo Logistics is looking for a high-performing, commercially astute Senior Business Development Manager to help drive our business forward. This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who thrives on autonomy, has deep industry insight, and is eager to make a long-term impact.
This role suits a self-motivated, dynamic individual—someone who knows the freight game, understands where the opportunities lie, and wants to own the customer relationship from first contact to long-term success.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Winning and managing new business across all Powercargo services
- Attracting constant new business reaping the benefits of uncapped commission
- Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline worth at least 3x your gross profit target
- Hitting activity KPIs consistent with freight industry standards
- Quoting and negotiating independently before securing deals
- Staying ahead of industry trends and customer needs

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years in a senior commercial role within freight forwarding or logistics
- Strong market and commercial awareness across the UK and global freight landscape
- Demonstrated success in building and converting a pipeline of new clients
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starting attitude with the confidence to work remotely and independently
- A collaborative mindset that values the bigger picture

Essential Skills:
- Experience in both Sea and Air freight forwarding
- Experience with CargoWise One
Role Details
- Location: Remote
- Salary: Negotiable and competitive (not time-limited)
- Contract: Permanent, Full Time
- Annual Leave: 25 days + English bank holidays
