Award-Winning Business Development Manager – Derby & Surrounding Areas
A thriving, award-winning company within the ever-expanding Waste Management industry is seeking a talented Business Development Manager to cover the Derby and surrounding areas, with immediate effect.
About the Role
Our client is recognised for innovation, creativity, and service excellence, with multiple unique selling points (USPs). The company has grown organically, achieving steady year-on-year growth since its inception and winning several industry awards over the past decade.
This Business Development Manager position is being created to capitalise on continued success, accelerated by planned business investment.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in waste management (though not essential). Your success will depend on strong relationship-building, influence skills, and a distinctive ability to win business. You must be driven, competitive, and seeking the next stage in your sales career—preferably within a high-performing team in a fast-growing sector.

Competitive Remuneration & Benefits
- Base salary: £31,000 – £35,000 per annum.
- Car allowance: £5,000 per year (as part of a competitive package).
- Uncapped bonus scheme—average earnings of approximately £20,000 per year in bonuses (subject to company performance).
- *Total potential annual earnings: £50,000 – £60,000+.
- Exciting career progression planned for the right candidate over the next 1-2 years.
