About the Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the successful conversion of inbound sales enquiries for Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and a range of Penetration Testing and Cyber Security services. The role focuses on identifying opportunities to expand service adoption and helping organisations strengthen their cyber security posture through certification, compliance and security testing solutions. The successful candidate will gain a quick understanding of our main products – Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials +, the process we follow to get customers compliant so they can guide prospects through the process. You will be asked to adopt a consultative approach for Penetration Testing Services, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate services that deliver value and support business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound enquiries for Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and Penetration Testing.
- Maintain knowledge of Citation Cyber products and services to educate customers on cyber security solutions.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer requirements, risks, and compliance needs.
- Scope and recommend Penetration Testing, Training, Consultancy, and Software solutions with the technical team.
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio, driving satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and recommendations.
- Manage opportunities from enquiry through to contract completion.
- Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities across cyber security services.
- Build relationships with business owners, IT Managers, IT Directors, Compliance Managers, and senior stakeholders.
- Work with technical and operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and forecasts in Pipedrive.
- Support marketing campaigns, webinars, events, and customer engagement activities.
- Keep up to date with cyber security, compliance, and market developments.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful over target Outbound Sales.
- Experience managing customer relationships and delivering revenue growth.
- Experience working with sales targets, pipelines, and CRM systems.
- Strong track record of converting opportunities into revenue.
Required Skills
- Experience selling cyber security, IT services, compliance solutions, or managed services.
- Experience working with SMEs, public sector organisations, or regulated industries.
