Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially minded and relationship-led Business Development Manager to join our Commercial team, focused on growing Campari Group’s presence across the Independent Free Trade channel.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping consumers’ first experience with our brands in independent bars, clubs and restaurants. You will build strong customer relationships, secure new listings, activate our brands brilliantly in outlet and deliver commercial plans that drive revenue, rate of sale and profitability across your territory.

You will identify new business opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts, working closely with internal teams to bring our brand plans to life in the on-trade.

The successful candidate will report to the Field Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Develop account sales plans aligned to brand priorities, targeting outlets that fit each brand’s profile and growth potential.
  • Secure new listings and drive target rate of sale across independent bars, clubs and restaurants, negotiating commercial agreements where appropriate.
  • Manage a regular customer call cycle to grow menu features, bar displays, visibility and brand presence across your portfolio.
  • Implement promotional activity, incentives and brand activations that deliver agreed commercial results.
  • Keep customer and account information accurate and up to date, including activity, opportunities and performance updates.
  • Share insights on competitor activity, customer needs and market trends within the independent on-trade.
  • Complete weekly journey plans, monthly reports and customer contact records accurately and in real time.
  • Deliver standout point-of-purchase execution and premium brand experiences in key halo accounts and groups.
  • Manage the regional budget effectively, ensuring proposals and investments are commercially sound.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
