About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing B2B services organisation seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join their sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building relationships, and delivering consistent revenue growth.

Location: Remote UK (must be UK located)

Salary: 65k basic, uncapped monthly bonus

We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in recruitment sales. The consultative selling, relationship management, and business development skills developed within recruitment transfer exceptionally well into this role.

The Role:

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new clients across a range of sectors. Working remotely, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals and developing long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the B2B marketplace.
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to contract agreement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets.

About You:

We're looking for an energetic and results-focused sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and closing business.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account acquisition.
  • Experience within recruitment sales, recruitment consultancy, or a comparable consultative sales environment.
  • Strong new business generation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrable history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

Desirable

  • Experience selling B2B services.
  • Background in solution-based or consultative sales.
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
