Operating from a modern depot in Livingston, Central Scotland, the company provides a comprehensive range of fresh meat, grocery, frozen, chilled, non-food, and cleaning products. The team combines local market knowledge with national buying power to support foodservice operations of all sizes. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain long-term relationships with foodservice clients, and expand market presence across Scotland and the North.

Responsibilities
- Generating and qualifying leads
- Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Preparing proposals and pricing structures
- Negotiating contracts in line with company policies
- Analyzing market trends
- Collaborating with internal teams on promotional initiatives
- Providing regular performance reports and forecasts
The Business Development Manager will work closely with operations, procurement, and customer service to ensure a seamless client experience and sustained revenue growth.

Qualifications
- Skills in business development, B2B sales, and account management
- Skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and customer service
- Skills in market research, data analysis, and sales forecasting
- Skills in negotiation, presentation, and communication
- Skills in CRM tools, pipeline management, and basic MS Office or similar productivity software
- Experience in foodservice, wholesale, or FMCG sectors is highly beneficial
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and travel to client sites when required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
