About the Role
With the overarching purpose to support in retaining and maximising existing clients, help win new ones and manage and enhance our brand, this person will play a key role in influencing the opinion of key stakeholders, developing and delivering strategic plans, and ensuring focused and engaging messages are communicated to our target markets.
About the Candidate
You’ll have experience of advising and delivering strategic marketing and business development plans within the professional services environment, and be comfortable advising, influencing and challenging partners. You’ll also be experienced in the full marketing mix, including secondary and tertiary comms, data and analytics, targeted business development campaigns and client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with partners and fee earners to challenge, develop and deliver strategic plans and initiatives.
- Ability to coach partners on business development and embed structured business development processes across teams.
- Develop, manage and implement multi-channel comms and targeted business development campaigns, ensuring they’re engaging, focused, measured and followed up.
- Produce and optimise engaging content, including articles, reports and brochures.
- Support on bids, tenders and presentations.
- Focus on client retention and maximisation through client care and service gap analysis.
- Manage and leverage data to support decision-making and activities.
- Support fee earners to generate, drive and manage pipeline.
- Support on internal marketing and cross selling opportunities.
- Keep web and social media channels up to date and engaging.
- Managing events, including webinars.
- Support the brand, from firm wide through to personal profiles.
- Research and communicate market opportunities and our competitors.
- Manage and monitor budgets and resource to ensure ROI.
- Influence and support wider group strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Build relationships with and leverage the Moore UK and Moore Global networks.

Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of strategic marketing and business development, both planning and delivering.
- 5+ years experience of working in a professional services firm, preferably accountancy or law.
- Excellent persuader, influencer and challenger, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Enthusiastic and energetic, able to take the initiative, drive process and make things happen.
- Strong project management skills with an ability to be flexible, prioritise and delegate.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and systems such as CRMs, GA4 and PowerBI.
- Excellent written communication with attention to detail.
- Strong networking skills; good at quickly establishing relationships and trust.
- Confident at presenting and chairing meetings.
- Fast learner with the ability to hit the ground running.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
