Business Development Partner Remote | Flexible Hours | Self-Employed / Freelance
At GYST, we help people Get Your Sh*t Together.
We know that's not for everyone. That's kind of the point. Most leadership and culture programmes are full of buzzwords, vague promises, and fluffy advice that sounds great on LinkedIn but changes absolutely nothing in the real world.
We do things differently.
We work with leaders and teams who want practical, honest insights into how they actually behave when things get difficult. One of our flagship experiences is the Meltdown, an immersive, pressure-based leadership experience that reveals what really happens to communication, decision-making, trust and teamwork when the heat is on.
Because everyone thinks they're a brilliant leader... until the pressure arrives.
We're looking for commercially-minded Business Development Partners to help us get Meltdown in front of the organisations that need it most.
This Is Not A Traditional Sales Job
- We're not looking for someone to sit through endless internal meetings.
- We're not looking for someone who wants to be micromanaged.
- And we're definitely not looking for someone who needs a manager asking what they've been doing every hour.
This is a freelance, self-employed opportunity for someone who knows how to create opportunities and start conversations.
Your job is simple:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
