Business Development Partner – JPS
Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for the Public Sector (e.g., Housing Associations and Local Authorities), is recruiting a Business Development Partner to cover Cambridge, Norfolk, the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the North East.
All applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities
- Identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities in social housing and public sector markets
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers to position JPS as a trusted partner
- Creating innovative, evidence-led proposals that enhance customer efficiency and value
- Managing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline via effective CRM systems
- Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Bids, Estimating, Operations, Partnerships) to deliver winning customer solutions
- Supporting contract mobilisation, retention, and customer engagement
- Representing JPS at exhibitions, events, and industry networking opportunities
- Advocating social value initiatives to strengthen customer partnerships
- Monitoring market trends, customer insights, and commercial performance to drive growth

Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in a customer-facing role
- Preference for candidates with Public Sector or social housing experience
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of profitable growth
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships at all levels (internally and externally)
- Strong organisational skills, CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce), and priority management
- Experience working across multiple business functions
- Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and commercial agreements
- Wilson UK partner audiences if available, with competitive upselling potential
