Role Outline & Expectations
Location: Remote (UK-based network required) Contract Type: Independent contractor / freelance
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Freelance Business Development Partner to drive high-ticket sales for our performance marketing services in the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, prospecting, and closing deals with mid-to-enterprise UK brands in leisure, sports, and entertainment.
- Targeting non-profits in these sectors, leveraging Google Ads Grant expertise.
- Operating with full flexibility in approach and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation: Independently source, prospect, and qualify high-ticket B2B leads for the UK leisure, sports, entertainment, and non-profit sectors.

Sector Targeting: Position Studio 34 as the premier performance marketing partner for commercial sports/entertainment brands. Pitch Google Ads Grant optimisation strategies to qualified non-profits.

Pitching & Closing: Lead introductory calls and present customised performance marketing proposals to senior stakeholders (CMOs, decision-makers).

Collaboration: Ensure seamless coordination with internal strategy and leadership teams for smooth deal handovers and account onboarding.

Deal Structuring: Secure recurring, monthly retainer contracts aligned with Studio 34’s offerings.
Required Skills & Experience
- English Proficiency: Native-level, written and spoken.
- Industry Network: Active contacts in UK sports leagues, leisure operators, entertainment venues, or major sector-specific non-profits.
- Agency Sales Track Record: 5+ years selling high-ticket digital marketing, paid media, or agency solutions.
- Performance Marketing Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of paid search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads).
- Proficiency in paid social (Meta, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn).
- Bonus: Experience with Google Ads Grant revenue streams.
- Commercial Acumen: Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex B2B decision-making.
- Self-Starter Mindset: Autonomous, accountable, motivated by uncapped earnings.

Compensation & Commission Structure
This 100% commission-only role offers uncapped earnings on recurring agency retainers for high-value clients.
- 10% Revenue Share: Earn a 10% commission on gross fee revenues generated during a client’s first 12 months with Studio 34.
- Minimum 3-Month Retention Period: Commissions activate after a client completes three consecutive months of engagement.
- Quarterly Payments: Commissions are calculated and paid in arrears, creating predictable income as your pipeline scales.
