Business Development Recruitment Consultant/Sales Person

Business Development Recruitment Consultant – Construction Sector

About the Role We are a small but ambitious construction recruitment company looking for a driven and commercially minded individual to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, building relationships, and winning new business. While recruitment experience is beneficial, your primary focus will be on:

  • Developing new client relationships
  • Generating opportunities within the construction sector

If you're motivated by commission, enjoy speaking with people, and want to play a key role in growing a business, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities

As a Business Development Recruitment Consultant, your key duties include:

  • Identifying and securing new construction clients
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with:
    • Contractors
    • Subcontractors
    • Construction companies
  • Generating vacancies through outbound business development
  • Managing client accounts and ensuring regular engagement
  • Matching suitable candidates to client requirements
  • Negotiating rates, terms, and recruitment agreements
  • Working towards and exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Contributing to the growth and success of the business

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Essential: Previous experience in sales, recruitment, or business development
  • A confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ambitious and eager to maximise earnings
  • Organised, with a strong attention to detail
