Job Overview/Purpose
As a key member of the scaling Business Development team, you will play a pivotal role in the qualification stage of all leads originating from Marketing and Microsoft, ensuring every lead is followed up and qualified as aligned with business priorities and objectives.
Individual alignment with Sales creates mentorship and growth opportunities as well as account development skills. It is worth noting that this could provide a career path into sales or the wider business if the right candidate performs consistently in line with the goals and targets set.

This role is aligned with our Winning From Anywhere® way of working, but attendance to our Hub based in Paddington is expected 1-2 days per week.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Actively qualifying marketing leads to BANT level through nurture and engagement, which will involve cold-calling, emails, and connecting through social channels such as LinkedIn.
- Qualifying and engaging with all event attendees, workshop requests, website enquiries, whitepaper downloads, and webinar on demand downloads to convert to SQL.
- Creating a sales pipeline to accurately reflect the relative placement of sales prospects in the purchasing process.
- Completing targeted outreach activities, which include using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Email, and calling on specific account lists and alongside Marketing campaigns.
- Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Growth Managers for further development and closure.
- Ensuring all leads are managed in a timely fashion and updated accordingly in Dynamics CRM.
- Arranging qualified face-to-face or virtual meetings between prospects and our Business Growth team.
- Representing Transparity when engaging with prospects and customers professionally, both virtually, or at in-person events.

Skills, experience, and qualifications
- Proven experience in high-volume outreach (cold calling, SDR, recruitment, or customer-facing roles) where activity levels really matter.
- A track record of hitting and exceeding targets, not just working towards them.
- Comfortable building relationships and driving conversations that lead somewhere commercially.
- Quick to learn, adaptable, and commercially aware – you understand why the work matters, not just what to do.
- Confident using tools like CRM systems and Microsoft Office to stay organized and on top of your pipeline.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think on your feet in live conversations.
- Clear, confident communicator who listens properly, negotiates well, and genuinely cares about delivering a good customer experience.
