To support the significant growth and development of the organization, we are seeking the expertise and capability of Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team.
What you’ll do at HammerTech
With strong initiative and a naturally competitive yet friendly approach, the BDR will thrive on the challenge of prospecting for clients and driving sales. This role is responsible for generating and growing the pipeline, collaborating closely with HammerTech Account Executives to engage strategic accounts through cold calls, emails, and social outreach.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate prospective client needs in new verticals by researching industries to identify new leads
- Qualify prospect pain points through probing discovery questions
- Generate curiosity and interest to book meetings and product demos with net new prospects
- Attain and exceed a monthly quota for Qualified Opportunities
- Manage follow ups for all events, campaigns and inbound leads
- Collaborate with our marketing team to execute various outbound campaigns
- Build relationships with enterprise accounts and C-level executives from the UK’s leading builders
- Work with an assigned set of named Enterprise Accounts to generate high value pipeline
- Act as first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Support Account Executives on outbound campaigns and lead generating efforts into designated accounts and verticals
- Monitor, attend and lead meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-ups with Account Executives. Where necessary, be able to conduct high level product demonstrations.
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and business development openings
- Build relationships with existing customers through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates on product developments
- Closely monitor existing HammerTech customers to identify opportunities for expanded use of the HammerTech product, and set up meetings to progress such expansion
- Present product information to customers once needs are identified
- Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure the company's goals and targets are met
- Other duties to enhance business development, as required

Our ideal candidate will bring the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, business or a related field
- Successful completion of coursework in business development techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous
- Experience in SaaS business development in construction or related industry
- Experience working with Salesforce/Outeach/Gong or equivalent CRM is desired
- Desire to develop a career in SaaS/ConTech industry
