The Role: Dutch-speaking Business Development Representative
We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Dutch-speaking Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team.
About the Role
As a BDR at Sabio, you will play a vital role in driving sales and business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to:
- Identify and engage potential clients through lead generation techniques.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Master outbound interactions, building authentic relationships with prospects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation
Utilise marketing campaigns, online research, and other lead generation methods to identify and qualify potential clients within our target markets.

Data Gathering
Conduct research to gather essential information on prospects, including their needs, challenges, and key decision-makers. Focus is primarily on the largest companies operating in Financial Services and Retail within the UK.

Outbound Calls
Initiate outbound phone calls to prospects, introducing our company, identifying pain points, and assessing interest in our products/services.

Qualification
Evaluate and categorise leads based on predefined criteria to determine their potential as clients.

Relationship Building
Engage and nurture leads effectively through communication and follow-ups, keeping them informed about our offerings.

Appointment Setting
Schedule meetings and appointments with qualified leads for the sales team, ensuring smooth information transfer.

Reporting
Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in our CRM system whilst providing regular reports to the sales and management teams.

Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align strategies and optimise lead generation efforts. This includes:
- Setting up local lead-generating events in conjunction with global and local teams.
- Following up on these events to drive appointment creation.

Product Knowledge
Stay informed about our company’s products and services, enabling you to communicate their value compellingly to prospects.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Fluency in Dutch—this role involves frequent communication with stakeholders in the Netherlands.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (required).
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Results-driven, passionate about achieving targets and quotas.
- Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) (highly desirable).
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time effectively.
