About the Role
We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing global Growth Team to support new business expansion across the UK and International markets. The role consists of building an active inbound and outbound outreach process, to nurture and drive leads and meetings set for our Sales team.
This role is a fundamental part of the sales organization and is the start of a growing career in sales, marketing, or account management at IDX, offering a highly motivated, intellectually curious problem solver personal growth and a financial rewarding program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify potential customers or target accounts using various tools (LinkedIn, CRM, databases) to create a list of prospects. Generate interest through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Qualifying Leads: Assess leads to ensure they meet the company’s ideal customer profile (ICP) or buyer persona. This includes asking probing questions to understand their needs, challenges, and budget.
- Outbound Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other communication channels to set meetings and appointments for the sales team.
- Setting Appointments: Schedule meetings or product demos for Account Executives (AEs) by engaging qualified leads and ensuring they understand the value proposition of the company’s product or service.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach efforts, lead status, and meeting bookings within the company’s CRM system.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely follow-up and nurturing of leads that are not yet ready to buy.
- Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the Business Development Directors to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and provide any relevant information gathered during the qualification process.
- Nurturing Relationships: Keep in touch with prospects through follow-up emails, calls, and personalized outreach to stay top-of-mind and move leads closer to a sale.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to better position the company’s offerings and understand potential customers’ pain points.
- Continuous Improvement: Consistently improve outreach strategies, messaging, and processes based on feedback and performance data to achieve sales targets.

Requirements
- Previous sales development experience in a B2B environment
- Comfortable making cold calls and written introductions up to C-Level
- A positive, can-do attitude, gritty, and resilient
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently to meet goals
- Ability to work collaboratively
