We have an opening on our Business Development Team that is a great step into the exciting world of tech sales! In this role you will be researching, prospecting, and contacting leads to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executive team. You will develop deep knowledge of the risk and compliance industry as well as build skills for further career growth to demonstrate excellent communication skills, persistence, and an ability to overcome obstacles and achieve assigned goals.

What you’ll do:
- Exceed your monthly quota by utilising your ability to assess a prospect’s “fit” and book meetings
- Generate qualified business opportunities by cold calling, emailing, and engaging in conversations with prospects
- Document, track, and monitor all leads and activities in Salesforce
- Utilise smart, targeted discovery questions to speak knowledgeably with decision makers such as VPs, Directors, and C-suite personnel
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of our full range of risk and compliance solutions and services, conveying that knowledge to potential customers, and adhering to company messaging and positioning
- Nurture relationships with longer term prospects
- Conduct territory development best practices with email, phone, and chat using sales enablement tools and technology to connect with new prospects and current customers
What you’ll bring:
- Professional fluency in English
- 1 year’s sales, telemarketing, or lead generation experience is a plus
- Technical acumen to ramp up quickly on core technologies such as Salesforce, Groove, etc.
- A tenacious work ethic with a desire to have a career in sales
- Grit and know-how with a curious and creative mindset to set goals to achieve bigger outcomes
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to meet and exceed quota monthly, maintaining a high call rate and ability to assess prospect’s “fit”
- A modest yet assertive and confident demeanor with empathy and compassion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives to engage and influence executive-level decision makers

- AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes

The starting pay for this role is 35,000 GBP per annum and a target variable of 14,000 GBP. Target Variable is based on individual achievement factors and is not guaranteed.
