The Role
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in accelerating Airtable’s growth by generating qualified pipeline opportunities and expanding our footprint beyond the 100,000+ organisations already using and loving our platform. You will work closely with our Strategic Account Executives in the UK and our cross-functional partners in the EMEA HQ in London.
This is more than a traditional outbound role. You’ll help prospective customers rethink how work gets done, partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing, and experiment with new strategies to unlock opportunities across the customer journey. You’ll become a trusted voice for Airtable’s vision while developing the commercial and strategic skills needed for a long-term career in Agentic AI software selling.
Please note, this is a hybrid role based in London, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
What You'll Do
- Generate qualified pipeline through a combination of inbound follow-up, outbound prospecting, and strategic outreach across northern Europe.
- Partner closely with Account Executives on territory planning, account prioritization, and personalized outreach strategies.
- Research target accounts and personas to identify high-impact opportunities and create thoughtful, tailored messaging.
- Engage prospective customers through calls, emails, events, webinars, and multi-channel campaigns.
- Clearly articulate Airtable’s value proposition and how our platform helps organizations solve complex operational challenges.
- Run discovery and qualification conversations to identify customer pain points and assess fit.
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback on campaigns, messaging, and lead quality.
- Experiment with and optimize outbound strategies, testing new approaches to drive pipeline growth.
- Build deep product knowledge and develop world-class sales skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
