Business Development Representative - London

About NORNORM

At NORNORM, we're a fast-growing circular scale-up redefining the workspace industry through an innovative subscription model designed to benefit people, businesses, and the planet.

As we expand our presence in the UK, we are seeking ambitious Business Development Representatives eager to learn the art of business development—through meaningful conversations, relationship-building, and collaborative partnerships.

The Role in a Nutshell

This isn’t just about prospecting and emails; it’s about creating long-term relationships with landlords, flex operators, brokers, and workplace consultants. You’ll cultivate eleven key skillsets many never fully master:

  • Starting high-quality conversations with unknowns
  • Turning “not interested” into “let’s talk”
  • Building trust with key stakeholders
  • Creating opportunities that lead to partnerships and long-term clients
  • Developing a commercial network that propels your career

Your biggest success? Growing NORNORM’s visibility and converting pipelines into qualified meetings, new commercial relationships, and closed deals across the UK workspace market.

Note: This is not an office-only role. You’ll be outspoken—digitally (phones, emails, LinkedIn) and in-person (coffees, site visits, industry events).

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Outreach

  • Identify, research, and engage target prospects from landlords, flex operators, status arena accounting services workplace consultants, brokers, and occupiers
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on agreed criteria (company fit, timing, commercial potential)

Sales Pipeline & Relationships

  • Book high-value discovery meetings—developing and owning the pipeline from prospecting to booked meetings
  • Lead or join meetings alongside Sales/Partnerships, armed with clear account context and prepared notes
  • Represent NORNORM at live events—turning conversations into qualified commercial opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
