What we need…

We’re looking for a high energy, ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our awesome go-to-market team based in London. We want an individual that is highly motivated, super creative, great on the phones, and interested in becoming an AE. You’ll have the support of a fantastic marketing team and great Account Executives who will actively cheer you on and celebrate your success!

What you'll do…

  • You’ll be responsible for creating a set number of qualified new business opportunities per month
  • Partner with Account Executives on the strategic approach to engage our top target accounts
  • Use a mix of research, calling, email, and social selling to engage our prospects
  • You will work a combination of inbound leads, event leads, nurtured leads, and you’ll outbound to our top target accounts (ABM accounts)
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns to rise above the noise in an email inbox and get the attention of our prospects
  • Pay close attention to our vast enablement library to stay sharp on our product differentiators and target personas
  • Continually hone your pitch on the phone to better qualify prospects and improve your conversion rate on calls
  • Leverage LinkedIn in creative ways to engage prospects
  • Continually identify new and creative ways to engage prospects using things like gifting, self-recorded videos, and other creative tactics
  • Understand customer needs and buying cycle to gather key prospect information, generate interest, and bring in successful customers
  • Do your own research online to create a more customized pitch to engage prospects
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs

What you have...

  • 9-18 months previous experience in a Business Development role
  • Previous experience cold calling/emailing prospective clients required
  • Passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, digital, and new technologies and be keen to build something new
  • Understand new concepts quickly and possess the ability to explain them with ease
  • Great natural curiosity - always looking to learn
  • Think commercially and be able to creatively spot opportunities
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and passionate about driving growth
  • Thirst to learn and develop your skills and take feedback well
  • Love building new relationships and working collaboratively
  • Well organized, autonomous, and able to prioritize work efficiently
  • Right to work in the UK
