About PocDoc PocDoc is transforming how people access and manage their health through digital diagnostics. Our mission is to make affordable, accessible blood testing available to everyone — empowering individuals, providers, and partners with rapid insights that improve outcomes. We are scaling quickly across the UK health ecosystem — from private testing providers to enterprise and healthcare partnerships. To accelerate this growth, we’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive the top of our sales funnel and fuel our next stage of expansion. A core growth area for this role will be to scale into our next International territory for expansion, as such we are asking that the candidate for this role is bilingual and fluent in English and German.
Role Overview As a BDR, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new prospects for the PocDoc sales team. You’ll own the early stages of the sales process — researching target accounts, running structured outreach, and booking qualified meetings that convert to opportunities. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role — ideal for someone who’s confident communicating with prospects, comfortable using data tools and CRM systems, and motivated by results. Experience selling into the NHS sector (ICBs/ Local Authorities/ PCNs / Providers) is preferred but not essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
