Business Development Representative

Location: Remote (LATAM)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Pacific Time
Compensation: $1,500 - $2,000 USD per month + 2% commissions on closed deals

Our client is a fast-growing premium gifting and event-focused business that specializes in creating memorable experiences through thoughtfully curated products and services. Their clientele includes luxury hotels, event venues, wedding professionals, corporate event organizers, and hospitality businesses seeking unique offerings for their guests and customers.

As the company continues to expand its B2B partnerships throughout Southern California, they are looking for a proactive and resourceful Business Development Representative to help generate new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify, engage, and qualify potential business partners within the hospitality and events industries.

This is a hands-on prospecting role where you'll be responsible for:

  • Building your own target lists
  • Conducting outreach
  • Nurturing relationships
  • Scheduling appointments directly with business owners, event planners, hotel managers, and other decision-makers

The ideal candidate is comfortable making outbound calls, writing compelling emails, managing follow-up sequences, and consistently creating opportunities for the sales pipeline.

All necessary sales and prospecting tools will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective clients within the hospitality and events sectors
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using provided tools and resources
  • Conduct outbound cold calls and email outreach campaigns
  • Create and manage multi-touch follow-up sequences
  • Engage directly with event planners, hotel decision-makers, venue managers, and business owners
  • Qualify prospects and uncover partnership opportunities
  • Schedule discovery meetings and sales appointments for leadership
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and prospect interactions
  • Consistently achieve activity and appointment-setting targets
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging and outreach strategies
  • Monitor pipeline progress and assist in moving opportunities through the sales process

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Lead Generation, Appointment Setting, or a similar outbound sales role
  • Strong cold calling and email outreach experience
  • Experience building prospect lists and conducting market research
  • Ability to identify and engage decision-makers
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on generating qualified opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into hospitality, events, weddings, luxury services, or related industries
  • Experience prospecting hotels, venues, event planners, or hospitality groups
  • Familiarity with outbound sales methodologies and prospecting best practices
