The Opportunity

Most sales roles involve working with a tired list of warm leads, sticking to repetitive scripts, and waiting for management directives on next steps.

Micron Agritech transforms diagnostics for veterinarians in livestock and companion animals using AI-powered technology. With hundreds of practices using our platform across the UK, Ireland, and expanding into France and beyond, we are seeking the right Business Development Representative (BDR).

This isn’t a conventional sales role: your priority is booking appointments—with veterinarians—through phone, email, and strategic outreach. Cold-calling expertise? Sales experience in car dealerships, property closings, or recruitment? You already know the game. The product is evolving—your instincts remain the same.

Success is measured by one simple metric: demos booked per week. Daily calls mean daily performance tracking. If you thrive on the chase, love conversions, and want to join a high-growth company, read on.

What You Will Do

Primary Responsibilities: Pipeline Generation

  • Cold call and email veterinary practices in Ireland, the UK, and (if fluent in French) France.
  • Develop strategies to bypass gatekeepers and engage decision-makers.
  • Pitch Micron Agritech in the first 30 seconds.
  • Book qualified demo appointments for the field sales team—your primary KPI.
  • Maintain and update lead records in HubSpot CRM.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to refine targeting and outreach strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
