The Mission
Create meaningful conversations that turn into qualified pipeline.
You are the first impression of AutomatePro. Your role is to engage the right organisations, uncover business challenges, and create opportunities that drive revenue growth. This is a proactive, commercially minded role where you connect customer problems to business outcomes and build momentum throughout the sales journey.
Role Profile
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for creating qualified pipeline opportunities by executing AutomatePro's sales methodology and go-to-market process.
You will build account plans, identify key stakeholders, map buying committees, and engage target accounts through outbound prospecting, marketing activity, events, partners, and referrals. You will conduct discovery conversations, qualify opportunities using our qualification framework, and coordinate meetings, site visits, and next steps throughout the sales cycle.
Working closely with Account Executives, you will ensure opportunities are well-qualified, accurately documented, and aligned to customer priorities before progressing them through the pipeline.
Your success will be measured by the quality of opportunities created, pipeline generated, and contribution to revenue growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
