Business Development Representative
Location: London (4 days per week office-based)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Uncapped Commission (c. £90,000 OTE) + Equity
Must have a degree 2:1 +
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast-growing AI technology startup that is transforming a traditional UK industry through innovative automation and workflow solutions. This is an ideal role for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys outbound prospecting and wants to join an early-stage business where they can make a genuine impact. Working closely with the founders, you will play a key role in building pipeline, refining sales processes, and contributing to the company's growth journey, with a clear progression path into an Account Executive position.

The Role
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and other outbound activities
- Identify and engage prospective customers across the UK market
- Book qualified meetings and demos for the wider sales team
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent prospecting activity
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop and improve outreach strategies
- Gather market feedback and customer insights to help shape messaging, positioning, and sales processes
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline updates
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in a BDR, SDR, Sales Development, or other outbound sales-focused role
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity, particularly cold calling
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in technology and innovation
- Excited by the opportunity to work within a fast-paced startup environment
