Sales Development Representative (SDR) – New Business Accounts
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to identify, research, and engage with potential clients. In this role, you will generate new sales opportunities for our business by qualifying prospects and scheduling meetings with our Business Development Managers (BDMs). The position will focus on reaching high-value SMEs and corporate clients.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop a robust pipeline and source qualified meeting opportunities for our team. Working with our enterprise-grade solutions, which include mobile, data, fixed-voice, VoIP, unified communications, IoT/M2M (Internet of Things and Machine-to-Machine), connectivity, and cloud/IT services, you will become a crucial part in driving our sales pipeline.
Solutions and support provided:
- Comprehensive training on solutions and sales approach
- Ongoing guidance from the sales team
Meeting Arrangement Flexibility:
- You’ll be responsible for arranging both remote meetings (MS Teams) and face-to-face meetings.
Working Relationships
Reporting: Direct reports to the Head of Sales.

Sales Team:
- Establish effective collaboration with fellow SDRs and BDMs, understanding their needs and processes to create seamless handover opportunities.
External Stakeholders:
- Engage with potential clients via email, phone (including cold calls), MS Teams, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Connect and liaise with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies to arrange minutes-of-meeting(MoM) quotes.
- Liaise with suppliers and partners as part of training and development, offering insights into your industry experience wherever applicable.
Key Skills and Attributes
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Resilience and creativity in lead generation and prospecting, adapting strategies based on feedback.
- Strong professionalism—risks being calm, composed, and credible in communication.
- Elaborate communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong phone presence (including mastering the creative script pirate method available in your toolkit).
- Proven experience researching companies and decision-makers, ensuring calls are proactive and strategic.
- High persuasion skills to overcome gatekeepers and build rapport rapidly with stakeholders.
- Adaptability to interact with various professionals—sales-resistant buyers, forward-thinking technologists, and finance and procurement employees.
- Determination to excel in a high-pressure consulting environment.
- Work ethic characterised by organization, productivity, and initiative.
- Punctuality and dependability—ensuring goals and deadlines are met.
