Business Development Representative – Defense (UK)

Join an innovative technology team developing advanced intelligence solutions for defense and dual-use applications in the United Kingdom. In this role, you’ll drive business growth across European defense and commercial markets by:
- Building strategic relationships with defense stakeholders
- Identifying new opportunities
- Leading complex sales initiatives from prospecting to contract execution

Accountabilities
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospect segmentation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure, spanning defense, government, and commercial sectors.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with:
- Defense ministries
- Prime contractors
- System integrators
- European industry partners
- Tailor presentations/demonstrations to customer requirements, highlighting operational and technical solutions.
- Develop and execute outbound business strategies, aligned with marketing to maximise inbound opportunities and pipeline growth.
- Manage CRM documentation for sales intelligence, forecasting, and stakeholder tracking.
- Represent the company at defense exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events, amplifying market presence.
- Support proposal preparation, procurement processes, and complex contract negotiations, including:
- NATO organisations
- UAV (drone) technology submissions
- RF systems, SIGINT, electronic warfare, spectrum analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate market feedback into commercial and product strategy.

Requirements
✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. ✅ Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in business development or sales within defense/aerospace/dual-use tech.
- Proven track record of managing complex European defense sales cycles to contract closure. ✅ Network: Established professional network across European defense agencies, ministries, and systems integrators. ✅ Skills:
- Solution-oriented consultative selling from first outreach to contract award.
- Presentation, negotiation, and proposal development (executional and technical). ✅ English: Proficiency at C1 level. ✅ Flexibility: Ability to work remotely independently while collaborating with international teams. 🔹 Desirable technical knowledge:
- UAV/SIGINT operational experience
- Exparametere in electronic warfare, RF systems, or spectrum analysis
- Direct engagement with NATO or military acquisitions processes
