Role: Business Development Representative

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: London (Threadneedle Street) or Sunbury, Surrey – Kinly operates a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a mix of office and home working

Salary: Basic salary of £30,000 - 35,000 (depending on experience) plus uncapped earning potential and company benefits

Hours: Monday – Friday – (9.00 am - 5.30 pm)

Exciting and brand new opportunity has arisen, as Yorktel and Kinly are now one company, and we want to recruit an energised sales-focused individual into our new Inside Sales team to help us develop our market presence even further.

Working as an Inside Sales Representative you will play a key role in helping us grow, by working to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within assigned accounts and with a strong focus on developing new business and logos.

The position is responsible and accountable for overall sales processes from initial contact and understanding client needs to the closure of the product/service delivery.

You will have responsibility for promoting, selling and securing orders from both existing and prospective customers.

This position reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager who will provide direction and support and you will have the opportunity to work closely across various departments to identify, develop and deploy service offerings and lead strategic engagements with major customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue through recognition and realisation of opportunities within accounts
  • Work with customers and Kinly resources to leverage our products and services to enhance customers’ business and grow opportunities
  • Help build the message to sell the full product and service portfolio of Kinly to other parts of customers’ business
  • Contributes to the creation of stakeholder maps for accounts and determines and orchestrates a coverage plan
  • Identify all customer contract renewals and build a plan for the renewal of those contracts
  • Drive profitability and revenue growth year over year in assigned accounts
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue goals by executing an account growth strategy
  • Work with marketing to create Sales Programs centred on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) endorsements
  • Conduct regular business reviews and reporting with major accounts
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, and resellers to further sales opportunities
  • Provide input into pricing, positioning, and strategy within assigned verticals or markets.
  • Research, prospect, and establish leads for corporate relationships followed by an introductory needs analysis/discovery meeting
  • Prepare and present proposals to corporate decision-makers
  • Generate new business revenue with special attention to net revenues

Skills and experience:

  • Capable of pursuing audio-visual, managed services, and voice integration business opportunities for Kinly within enterprise corporate spaces and other potential growth markets
  • Capable of establishing strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses strong presentation skills as an essential function of the position
  • Comfortable managing relationships with executive-level contacts
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical buyers
