The platform automates habitat mapping, land classification, condition assessment, and environmental reporting at a speed and scale that manual methods cannot match.

The Role
As a Business Development Representative in the BNGAI team, you will be part of the UK sales function working across developers, housebuilders, infrastructure owners, ecology consultancies, local planning authorities, and water utilities.
We're looking for a driven and resourceful business development representative to accelerate BNGAI’s growth in the UK market. Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll work across developers, housebuilders, infrastructure owners, ecology consultancies, local planning authorities, and water utilities to build a pipeline, open doors with key decision-makers, and generate qualified introductory meetings across our target markets.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, is comfortable using automation and software tools to work at scale, and enjoys seeing the direct commercial results of their efforts. You'll play a key part in shaping how the BD function operates within the BNGAI team, with real scope to grow as the business scales.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting across cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels to engage target accounts in the development, infrastructure, ecology, and environmental consultancy sectors
- Research accounts, contacts, and industry developments to personalize messaging and identify the most relevant entry points into each organization
- Leverage automation tools, AI assisted outreach platforms, and sales engagement software to maximize efficiency and scale prospecting efforts without sacrificing personalization
- Qualify prospects by understanding their business priorities, environmental compliance obligations, and fit for BNGAI’s solutions before booking meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, lead, and opportunity data in Salesforce to support pipeline reporting, follow up, and CRM hygiene
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Director and Account Executives on target account lists, campaign messaging, and follow-up strategies
- Represent BNGAI at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across the environmental, planning, and development sectors
- Track performance metrics, analyze results, and continuously refine your approach to improve conversion rates and outreach effectiveness
What we’re looking for:
- 1+ year of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or a similar outbound-focused role, ideally in B2B SaaS, technology, or professional services
- Demonstrated ability to prospect through phone, email, and LinkedIn with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), sales engagement tools (e.g. Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience with or strong enthusiasm for using automation, AI tools, and software to streamline and scale outbound workflows
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of outreach and follow-up activities
- A self starter mentality with resilience, coachability, and a genuine drive to succeed
- Ability to learn complex products quickly and translate technical value propositions into relevant, engaging conversations

Location and work model:
This is a hybrid role based out of the AiDASH office in central London. Some travel across the UK will be required for client meetings, industry events, and conferences (typically up to 20%).
