About the Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be instrumental in building the company’s sales pipeline by identifying and engaging new potential customers.
In this role, you’ll:
- Research target accounts and prospects.
- Reach out via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate new sales leads.
- Qualify opportunities to ensure they align with customer needs before passing them to the sales team.
- Schedule meetings, demos, and follow-ups for account executives.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead-generation strategies.
- Track outreach performance and optimise messaging for better conversion rates.
You’ll work closely with both sales and marketing, helping to turn cold outreach into warm leads and contributing to the company’s revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers and high-value accounts.
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads by understanding client pain points and evaluating opportunity fit for the sales team.
- Schedule product demonstrations and meetings for account executives.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects and pipeline data within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, lead generation, and demand initiatives.
- Analyse outreach performance metrics and refine messaging to improve conversion rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and evolving customer challenges.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales development, or a related role.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in engaging with new prospects and driving** outreach initiatives**.
- Strong motivation, proactiveness, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
