Business Development Representative (Outbound)
This is the ideal role for someone who thrives in outbound prospecting and wants to build meaningful connections with potential clients—starting with FE Investments.
The Business Development Representative (Outbound) plays a critical part in our new business pipeline. You’ll be the first voice that introduces our firm to clients, turning cold calls into warm conversations and booking essential meetings.
Key highlights of this role include:
- Generating leads through proactive outbound calls
- Optimising our pipeline by scheduling high-value opportunities
- Collaborating with experienced Business Development Managers
- Supporting live events such as adviser roadshows and client interactions
- An energetic,ENTS ccachemet for a regulated, dynamic environment in financial services
About the Role
This hybrid position (based in our London office with 2 days/week in the office) suits someone who values impact, growth and collaboration. You’ll be shaping your career in financial sales with FE Investments, exploring direct relationships while systemic rejecting training and development from our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
- Overview cold calls to introduce and promote our products and services.
- Proactively generate leads and schedule calls/meetings.
- Deliver tailored pitches and handle objections with confidence.
- Meet and exceed KPIs for meeting scheduling targets.
- Maintain CRM data standards—records up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist broader outreach including adviser events, regional roadshows and client lunches.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers on pipeline goals while sharing insights and priorities.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should:
- Have outstanding communication and persuasive skills for phone-based persuasion.
- Possess strong negotiation skills, resilience to rejection, and ability to stay motivated through challenge.
- Be highly organised, with attention to detailed accuracy.
- Be hands-on with CRM tools—quality interaction with compliance protocols.
- Ideally carry relevant experience with telesales or outbound sales.
- Familiarity with investment/financial markets a plus.
