Business Development & Sales Manager – UK Cyber & ICT Services

PSD Group are partnering exclusively with a highly respected defence and security organisation seeking a high-calibre Business Development & Sales Manager to drive growth across Cyber and ICT Services within Defence, Government and UKIC environments.

This is a hunter role. Not an account caretaker. Not a passive relationship manager.

This opportunity is for someone who: • Creates and converts pipeline • Opens doors across Defence and Government • Builds campaigns and shapes capture activity • Wins complex cyber and ICT services business • Develops trusted customer relationships at senior levels • Converts ambiguity into revenue opportunities

You will take ownership of strategic customer engagement across Defence and Government organisations operating at SECRET and ABOVE SECRET levels, helping position cutting-edge cyber resilience and secure ICT managed services capabilities into mission-critical environments.

We are looking for individuals with a track record of: • Winning new business across Cyber, Secure ICT or Managed Services • Operating successfully within MOD, UK Government and defence prime ecosystems • Leading customer engagement within complex, security-sensitive environments • Translating operational and technical requirements into commercially winning solutions • Working through long and often ambiguous sales cycles • Building influence across customer, technical and delivery communities

This role will suit commercially driven professionals who are credible in front of senior stakeholders, comfortable operating autonomously and motivated by shaping and closing strategic opportunities.

Key areas of focus: • Developing and executing UK Cyber & ICT campaign activity • Identifying, qualifying and converting new business opportunities • Growing relationships across Defence, Government and partner communities • Supporting the development of tailored cyber resilience and managed service solutions • Working closely with bid, technical and delivery teams to shape compelling propositions • Representing the organisation at customer engagements, briefings and industry events • Maintaining strong situational awareness of customer priorities, funding streams and market shifts

Ideal background: • Strong knowledge of UK Defence, Government and National Security environments • Experience selling complex cyber security and/or secure ICT services • Proven business development or sales success within Defence or National Security markets • Strong understanding of solution-led selling rather than product-only sales • Credibility operating with customers handling SECRET and ABOVE SECRET environments • Familiarity with digital service delivery and managed service frameworks is highly desirable
