BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST — UNITED KINGDOM
JANUS et Cie | Luxury Outdoor Furniture | Based in London
JANUS et Cie, a global leader in luxury outdoor furniture, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to grow our presence across the UK trade market. You'll build lasting relationships within the design community, generate leads, and drive revenue through strategic partnerships — while coaching and leading our showroom sales team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and nurture relationships with interior designers, architects, and design firms
- Deliver compelling brand and product presentations to residential-sector clients
- Grow a robust pipeline, generate leads, and close sales
- Represent JANUS et Cie at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Coach and mentor the showroom sales team as team lead
- Manage a personal account list and partner with sales and client service teams to deliver seamless projects
- Stay ahead of industry trends and consistently exceed sales goals

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven business development or sales success, ideally in furniture, interior design, or home
- An established network in the design and architecture community (a strong advantage)
- Advanced or native English, with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivation, initiative, and a results-driven mindset
- Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting
- A genuine passion for design and high-end furniture

THE DETAILS
Based in London. Reports to the Showroom Manager or Regional Sales Director of Residential Sales, and leads a showroom sales team. Interacts with all levels of the organization.
