The Role
The Business Development Specialist is a flexible, hybrid role focused on expanding Sepenta's client base and deepening relationships with existing partners across the UK and Türkiye. You will be the commercial engine connecting Sepenta's expertise to organisations that need it.
This role suits someone who is equally comfortable building institutional relationships and having direct conversations with decision-makers, from HR Directors and Learning & Development Heads to individual career changers exploring Sepenta's programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Management
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across both B2B and B2C markets
- Build and maintain an active pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring all leads and contacts are accurately tracked
- Conduct outreach through calls, meetings, LinkedIn, and email — peer-to-peer, not cold pitch
- Prepare and support the delivery of proposals, bids, and capability presentations

Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Engage prospective clients with a consultative approach, clearly communicating Sepenta's services, value propositions, and training offerings
- Build trust with clients through professional, responsive service and regular follow-up
- Gather client feedback to help improve Sepenta's offerings and service delivery
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, target segments, and competitive positioning
- Analyse market data and business performance metrics to inform commercial decisions
- Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns and lead generation initiatives
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with consultants and delivery teams to align business development activity with Sepenta's delivery capacity
- Contribute to regular commercial reporting and pipeline reviews with the Founder & CEO
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within consulting, training, or IT services
- Strong communication skills: confident in client outreach, presentations, and internal collaboration
- Lead generation experience: prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and managing a pipeline end-to-end
- Solid customer service skills: building long-term client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness
- Analytical mindset: able to interpret market data, pipeline metrics, and business performance indicators
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office or similar productivity software, and basic reporting dashboards
- Fluent English; Turkish language skills a significant advantage

Desirable
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, particularly SAFe® and digital transformation initiatives
- Experience selling training programmes, professional qualifications, or consulting services to organisations or individuals
- Existing relationships with HR, L&D, or enterprise procurement teams in the UK or Türkiye
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and equally comfortable working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
