Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Generating new sales & closing the paperwork is the primary role
  • Managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients
  • Monitoring customer accounts
  • Keeping track of sales targets
  • Answering phone calls
  • Scheduling diaries

Role Overview

The Sales Manager position requires a candidate who is driven, personable, organised and quick to learn particularly in the payments sector. This opportunity will provide the candidate with a strong path to progression - initially learning the basics and supporting - to then progressing to autonomous business development and revenue generation on a commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up sales & drive calls for identifying and qualifying prospects
  • Serve as the initial point of contact with targeted prospects
  • Present solutions to prospects
  • Lead generation, prospecting and other sales methods designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
  • Personally develop strong, long-term relationships with senior management at targeted firms
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for all opportunities including initial client communication, on-site presentations, RFI response, multi-day client workshops, negotiation and deal signing.
  • Provide support to customers during initial phases of an engagement. Follow up and ensure total client satisfaction through the sales life cycle.
  • Support the team's market research and competitive positioning analysis in partnership with regional presales, marketing and the rest of the business development staff.
  • Adhere to all FULCRUM Sales, Human Resource, and corporate ethical policies and guidelines.

Travel Requirements

The candidate is expected to travel regularly to regional prospect and customer locations to support lead generation, sales presentations, contract negotiations, engagement implementation, and ongoing relationship building.

You will report to the Director of Sales working closely with the sales team to develop a lead generation program and then execute to achieve demo set goals. You should have experience and be comfortable in a fast-paced growth-centric environment on a services/product sales organization. You are flexible and collaborative as sales initiates and priorities shift with growing opportunities.

Required Skills

  • A "go-getter" attitude with IT sales experience.
  • Responsible for developing and increasing market share within the insurance industry.
  • Must have closed 2 to 5 million dollars deal.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken), interpersonal & Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to achieve aggressive deadlines and sales targets.
  • Value created and not order taken attitude.
  • Product Selling Exposure is a must: Portals, Mobile, Packages and in digital space.
