What you will be doing
- To be accountable for successfully driving sales across new and existing customers within an assigned territory, ensuring adequate pipeline is in place to achieve and exceed targets.
- To understand and confidently articulate Modern Workplace Supplies portfolio and Ricoh’s value proposition, keeping up to date with knowledge of these products and services to enhance and maintain strong creditability with customers.
- To be responsible for communicating product updates, promotions and incentives and work with internal teams to plan, agree and deliver sales and marketing activities, ensuring successful execution of campaigns and events to help increase brand visibility, customer engagement and drive sales.
- To be responsible for prospecting, account mapping and engaging with new and existing customers to create and develop sales opportunities.
- To develop and maintain strong relationships across Ricoh vendor network, enabling successful engagement and ensure the promotion of products and services to maximise potential opportunities.
- To lead proposals, relevant bid or tender engagements for Modern Workplace Supplies opportunities to ensure high quality proposals are developed and an increased win rate for Modern Workplace Supplies opportunities
- To be responsible for regular forecasting, monthly reporting, and CRM management to ensure Ricoh Management can track progress against budget.

You will ideally have
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take initiative and drive activity independently.
- Results-focused, resilient, and positive, with a strong commitment to ethical and inclusive behaviours.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent presentation and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrates confidence in influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Team-oriented, with a supportive approach to wider business objectives.
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing own workload.
- Eagerness to learn, with a strong appetite for continuous development.
- Knowledge of the Modern Workplace Supplies market advantageous.
- Proven experience in a sales or business development environment.
- Experience using CRM systems is desirable
