Business Development Specialist
Are you a results-driven B2B sales professional with a proven ability to generate qualified leads? Our client, a technology organisation supporting businesses across a variety of industries, is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join their team.
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying decision-makers and building interest in technology solutions. Your role is essential to the sales pipeline, qualifying leads based on specific criteria and scheduling appointments for the sales team.
This is a hybrid role, with three days spent in the office and the remainder of the week working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with prospective B2B clients through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
- Research and identify key influencers and decision-makers within target organisations.
- Assess and qualify new leads against established criteria, understanding their specific needs, budget, and project timelines.
- Secure and schedule well-qualified appointments for the sales team.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all activities in the company's CRM system.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s technology services to clearly articulate their value to potential clients.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams, sharing market insights and aligning on strategy.

Who They’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- Keen attention to detail, and strong Excel knowledge.
- Analysis and reporting skills to track performance metrics.
- Self-motivation to succeed in a target-driven environment.
- Agency experience is desirable.
