Business Development Trustee - Volunteer
Help secure the long-term sustainability of Crowborough Community Association and Crowborough Community Centre by identifying opportunities, strengthening income, and ensuring services remain relevant to local community needs.

Our vision is simple The Centre exists to ensure every resident in Crowborough—no matter their age, background, or ability—has a high-quality hub on their doorstep. We are committed to keeping these doors wide open, ensuring the space stays accessible, welcoming, and vibrant for everyone.
From toddlers discovering new games to seniors staying active and connected, we want to see every room full and every person benefiting from this shared space. We believe that when the Centre thrives, Crowborough thrives.

Your role as a Trustee would be to help steer the ship, driving our current and future direction to ensure the Centre stays relevant and thriving for years to come.

What are we looking for?
Business development, strategy, fundraising, marketing, or commercial experience. Strong local awareness and community focus. Creative thinking and problem solving. Ability to turn ideas into practical actions.

What will you be doing?
Be a vibrant and collegiate contributor to the CCA board which currently consists of 7 members Contribute to overall trustee board discussions and decision making. Identify business development and growth opportunities. Help ensure Crowborough Community Centre remains responsive to changing local needs. Support initiatives that improve financial sustainability and long-term viability. Assist with development of the annual business plan. Bring ideas, contacts, and practical thinking to help move opportunities forward.
