The Role
As the Business & Economics Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons across KS4 and KS5, using current economic events and business case studies
- Tracking pupil progress through data
- Contributing to A-Level delivery, including curriculum planning and assessment
- Building stronger relationships with sixth form students and their families
- Applying your expertise to elevate the school’s subject-specific outcomes and student outcomes
What the School is Looking For
This permanent Business & Economics Teacher position is open to candidates who:
- Hold British Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are completing a UK-accredited teacher training programme
- Graduate with a 2:1 or above degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline, ideally from a Russell Group university
- Have meaningful classroom experience through placements or a substantive secondary post in a UK setting
- Demonstrate structured lesson delivery and a track record of strong pupil outcomes at KS4 and above
- Are legally entitled to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
- ECT (Early Career Teachers) are encouraged, but formal UK teacher training must be completed.

Salary & Contract
- Inner London MPS Band: £40,317 to £52,300, with UPS possible up to £62,496
- TLR (Post-Level Adjustment) opportunities may be available to candidates with existing leadership experience.
