About the Role
We seek a Business Finance Manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Based in our London office, this role reports directly to the Head of FP&A.
Your primary focus will be:
- Delivering the Board’s strategic objectives by driving value creation through M&A, debt/equity raising, exit planning, revenue growth, and cost efficiency.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team, extracting actionable insights from financial and non-financial data.
- Crafting presentations, insights, and narratives to guide decision-making and implement strategies that underpin commercial success.

This is a hands-on, analytical FP&A role requiring:
- Development and maintenance of financial models (workforce planning, profitability analysis).
- Preparation of weekly/month-end reporting, budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Decisive action based on forward-looking financial and operational intelligence.
An ideal candidate must be a qualified accountant committed to advancing their FP&A career in a fast-growing organisation.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Own the accuracy and timeliness of recurring management reporting and variance analysis.
- Maintain core FP&A models, ensuring consistency and integrity from data inputs to outputs.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting templates and processes for increased efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Month-end spotlight:
- Produce variance analysis, aligning actual performance against budgets/forecasts.
- Financial planning:
- Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term planning processes.
- Maintain end-to-end workforce planning and headcount models.
- Commercial insights:
- Create, refine, and distribute clear, mission-focused financial reports and KPI dashboards.
- Develop unit economics, pricing analyses, and profitability reports to support decision-making.
- Board-level readiness:
- Contribute to financial planning posts for Board meetings, investors, and debt holders—gathering data, conducting analyses, and preparing documentation.
- Model integrity:
- Build, test, and update predictive and operational financial models for financial flexibility.

About You: Essential & Desirable Skills
✓ Essential Requirements
- Qualified accountant with one of the following: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
- Advanced Excel skills (including financial modelling).
- Sharp analytical prowess with an attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Proven experience in FP&A, management accounting, or analytical finance roles.
- Saving time in every task: strong organisational skills, energy to meet deadlines & deadlines that inspire you.
💡 Desirable
- Fintech or regulated financial services experience (важно, когда речь о работающих с лицензиями).
