Job Title: Business Growth Manager
Reports to: Director of Framework Partnerships
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
Location: The role will be remote working (home based) but the role will include national travel.
Package:
- Basic Salary of £55,000 per annum
- Car Allowance £4,800 per annum

ROLE
Echelon Group (comprising Echelon Consultancy Limited, Pretium Frameworks Limited, Echelon Improvement Partnerships Limited (EIP) and Quantum Training Limited) delivers a range of consultancy services, primarily in the fields of asset and facilities management, estate services and construction for clients in the public housing sector.
Echelon Consultancy are a leading procurement consultancy providing advice, support and training to public sector housing organisations in relation to the procurement of all asset management related works and services. We also support client organisations in the ongoing delivery of these projects.
Pretium delivers easy and low-cost access, high value, value for money and fully Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and PA23 compliant frameworks to organisations across the UK. The current Pretium frameworks can be found on our website (www.pretium.co.uk) and focus on flexibility in delivery.
EIP (Echelon Improvement Partnerships) focuses on sharing best practice and industry knowledge and runs numerous best practice groups and the highly successful annual Echelon Conference.
Quantum focuses on delivering bespoke training across all aspects of the sector, working collaboratively with partner organisations. Services delivered by Quantum include one-to-one training and mentoring and online training modules. The company also acts as a conduit linking individuals with training providers.
Pretium are looking for a Business Growth Manager to support all of our Frameworks in achieving our ambitious growth targets. We currently have 13 active frameworks plus a DPS, but there are more to be launched in the coming months and beyond. We require an individual who can develop strong, long-term relationships that lead to securing business for Pretium.

In addition, this individual will need to have a natural ability to identify opportunities and see the bigger picture with cross selling within the Pretium Frameworks and also the wider Echelon Group business.
Pretium Frameworks are predominantly utilised in the Social Housing Sector; however, we are continuing to grow our offering to all aspects of public sector, including the NHS, Education, Defence and Police sectors.
Experience within housing, asset management or construction are essential. The role will require an individual who is able to build a detailed understanding of all our frameworks and the services they offer.
We believe the stronger the knowledge, the more potential for securing business. The services we offer vary greatly and also each framework can have bespoke processes so the individual in this role will need to be able to adapt their approach in a fast-paced environment and keep abreast of changing and emerging legislation.
Whilst not essential immediately, the role will require a good understanding of the current procurement regulations. At Pretium we pride ourselves on offering sound procurement advice, which is compliant and suits the needs of our Users. Procurement experience is not essential as we are happy to invest time in training the right individual in this area. If there is no experience in procurement, then we expect the individual to have an appetite to learn and grow their knowledge base in this area.
This Business Growth Manager role will require someone who can develop relationships with Suppliers and Framework Users, both new and existing. To date our growth has been through a mixture of good relationships with our suppliers and clients. We want to grow on this and see both avenues as the future of our success.
We need an individual who can manage their time effectively, as the role will be busy and fast paced so we need someone who is organised and can prioritise. This role will need someone who can manage a range of relationships with Clients, Suppliers and Internal teams effectively in an organised manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and convert opportunities into framework activity and revenue generation for Pretium.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of each framework, including bespoke processes and requirements for awarding call-off contracts.
- Manage and respond to all framework-related enquiries, taking ownership of procurement projects to ensure delivery against agreed objectives, timescales, and quality standards.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Social Housing sector.
- Attending key networking events and conferences across the sector.
- Work closely with the Director of Framework Partnerships and the Business Growth team to identify, track, and maximise opportunities across all frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Pretium team, including the Framework Manager and Framework Coordinators, ensuring opportunities are effectively progressed through established procurement processes, including:
- Preparing agendas, briefing packs, presentations, meeting minutes, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Producing framework tender documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel templates, and creating new templates where required.
- Coordinating and responding to bidder queries via the portal messaging facility.
- Downloading tender submissions and preparing collated evaluation packs for clients.
- Support the monitoring and measurement of framework performance through robust systems, tools, and reporting methodologies.
- Produce regular management reports and maintain accurate records within CRM and IT systems to track relationship management activities, opportunities, and project progress.
- Assist in the development and delivery of quarterly framework performance reports for framework providers.
- Manage and maintain key relationships with clients, framework suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure high levels of engagement and service delivery.
- Support the drafting and development of framework documentation, marketing materials, and promotional literature for Pretium.
- Ensure comprehensive framework records and documentation are maintained and regularly updated.
