Role Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Business Immigration Lawyer to join our award-winning and people-first team at OTB Legal. This is a Hybrid Role based in our London office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality, complex immigration matters for a diverse portfolio of clients — from major international corporations to fast-growing start-ups and SMEs. You’ll provide strategic support across the full spectrum of business immigration services, including sponsor licence applications and compliance, Skilled Worker and Global Talent visas, and broader sponsorship advice.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, client-focused team that values both legal excellence and human connection. Our clients come from dynamic and exciting industries — including gaming, tech, engineering, and beyond — so no two days are the same.

What you’ll do
- Advise UK businesses on applying for and managing sponsor licences.
- Prepare and submit sponsor licence applications with supporting legal representations.
- Guide employers through ongoing sponsor compliance duties and record-keeping requirements.
- Conduct compliance audits and mock Home Office visits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage a portfolio of business immigration cases, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Liaise with HR teams and business owners to gather and verify required documentation.
- Respond to complex queries on sponsor licence obligations and immigration strategy.
- Handle new client enquiries and convert them into instructions.
- Provide training and practical advice to clients on maintaining compliance.
- Stay up to date with changes in immigration law and update clients accordingly.
About you
- A strong understanding of complex legal issues
- A clear practicing certificate if a qualified solicitor
- No record of adverse findings by regulatory bodies
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in business / corporate immigration law.
- A desire to contribute to business development through assisting with new business enquiries in an efficient and client-centered manner
- Good timekeeping in relation to personal punctuality as well as the completion of tasks
- An ability to take responsibility for all steps required on cases allocated
- Knowledge of Global Talent Route would be an advantage.
