Business Insights Manager – Reading (Hybrid) – Permanent
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 + Benefits
About the Role
IN2 Consult is partnering with a growing business in Reading to recruit an experienced Business Insights Manager to join their growing team and play a pivotal role in transforming data into commercial value.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on solving business problems through analytics, influencing decision-making, and helping shape strategic direction. Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, you'll combine technical expertise with a commercial understanding to deliver meaningful insights that improve performance, identify opportunities, and support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Business
- Build strong relationships with internal leaders and client stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, using data to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.

Deliver Insight That Drives Performance
- Analyse multiple data sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Present clear, commercially focused recommendations that influence business outcomes and improve overall performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and proactively identify areas for optimisation.
Lead Data & Reporting Solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear visibility of business performance.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, relevant, and accessible to a range of stakeholders.
Improve Data Capability
- Champion best practice in data management, governance, and quality.
- Support the evolution of data processes, models, and reporting frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Work with technical teams to optimise data structures and automate reporting where possible.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Lead analytics projects from concept through to implementation.
- Identify new ways to leverage data, improve processes, and enhance business performance.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and analytical techniques that can add value to the business.

What You’ll Bring
Commercial Mindset
- Experience using data to solve business challenges and influence strategic decisions.
- Ability to balance analytical thinking with commercial awareness.
Stakeholder Management
- Proven experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analysis in a simple, engaging way.
Technical Expertise
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and managing large datasets.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation platforms.
- Experience using Python or R for data analysis and statistical modelling.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture (e.g., Azure) is highly desirable.
