Business Intelligence Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Operations Business Intelligence team.
Reporting to the Operations Business Intelligence Team Leader, this role focuses on delivering actionable insights that drive improvements across:
- Customer experience
- Regulatory compliance
- Operational performance
- Financial outcomes
Through the analysis of complex business data, you will:
- Identify opportunities, risks, and trends
- Provide clear recommendations that support strategic decision-making and business growth
- Lead business analysis activities, develop robust analytical models, and present insights to senior stakeholders
- Help shape initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service for our customers

Key Responsibilities
- Apply business analysis techniques to complex business scenarios
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Identify process improvement opportunities, operational efficiencies, and risks impacting business performance, customer outcomes, or regulatory compliance
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
- Influence decision-making through clear, effective communication
- Develop and utilise business intelligence tools, analytical models, and supporting technologies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Skills & Experience required
- Proven experience applying business analysis techniques to complex business scenarios
- Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Experience identifying process improvements, operational efficiencies, and risks affecting:
- Business performance
- Customer outcomes
- Regulatory compliance
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
- Good knowledge of:
- Business analysis methodologies
- Business intelligence tools
- Supporting technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

What does hybrid working look like?
Hybrid working means:
- 2 days per week in the office location specified in the advert
- 3 days per week from home
- Some occasional travel required for inter-office collaboration
