Business Intelligence Analyst

London (hybrid, 2 days per week in the office) | Up to £55,000

Must be able to show commercial impact!

This is an opportunity to join a growing data function at a business undergoing a significant data transformation. You will play a central role in shaping how data is used across the organisation, acting as a trusted partner to multiple teams and helping to embed a strong self-serve BI culture using Power BI.

The Role

You will work closely with stakeholders across sales, finance, commercial, product and marketing to turn data into clear, actionable insight. The role is broad and hands-on, suiting someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership.

  • Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business decision-making
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
  • Deliver analysis to answer commercial and operational questions
  • Champion self-serve analytics and demonstrate the value of Power BI across the business
  • Contribute to a wider data platform migration, working with engineers and architects
  • Help improve data quality, reporting standards and overall BI best practice

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics
  • Advanced SQL capability for querying and analysing data
  • Strong Power BI experience, including data modelling and visualisation best practice
  • Confidence working directly with non-technical stakeholders and gathering requirements
  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and how to communicate insight clearly
  • Exposure to modern data platforms or cloud environments is beneficial
  • DAX or Python knowledge is advantageous but not essential
