Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Home-based (UK)
Travel: Approximately 2 UK trips per year
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role
Reporting to the IT Operations Director, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering business intelligence across BioPhorum.
Working with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Client Services and Operations, you'll build dashboards, analyse complex datasets and provide insights that support strategic planning, operational performance and business growth.
This is an opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, contribute to a growing data function and influence how data is used across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing
- Building, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
- Analysing complex business data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
- Developing robust data models using SQL, DAX and Power Query
- Supporting business forecasting, KPI reporting and performance measurement
- Working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Improving data quality and helping maintain trusted reporting across the organisation
- Automating reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
- Presenting data and insights in a clear, engaging way for both technical and non-technical audiences
About You
You'll be naturally curious, analytical and enjoy using data to solve business problems. We're looking for someone with:
- Strong experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Excellent SQL skills for querying, transforming and analysing data
- Experience with DAX, Power Query and data modelling
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes and reporting best practice
- The ability to communicate complex information clearly and influence decision-making
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with multiple data sources and supporting self-service reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, the Power Platform or Dynamics 365 would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
