At Valeo Foods UK, we’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the team and support how we use data to make better decisions across the business.

Working closely with the Head of Business Intelligence, this is a role where you’ll turn a wide range of data into clear, practical insight that teams across the business can act on. You’ll be working with stakeholders at different levels, across categories, and helping to build a more consistent and effective approach to business intelligence.
This is a varied role with a mix of reporting, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be:
- Supporting the delivery of monthly reporting, including category reports, brand scorecards and business performance packs
- Leading on 4-weekly CSI insight creation, developing clear recommendations for the business
- Taking ownership of 1–2 categories over time, becoming a go-to contact for performance insight
- Bringing together multiple data sources (internal data, retailer data, Dunnhumby, etc.) into clear, consistent reporting
- Managing relationships with data partners and agencies to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Supporting the rollout of a more standardised “Valeo way” of business intelligence across teams
- Helping build capability across the business by supporting and training teams on how to use data effectively
- Contributing to strategy cycles, research projects and planning processes with relevant insight

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is naturally analytical, comfortable working with data, and able to communicate insights clearly.
You’ll likely have:
- A degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working with data and turning it into a clear story
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Exposure to data platforms like Nielsen, Circana, Dunnhumby, Kantar or Power BI (useful, but not essential)
You might already be working in an analyst or category role, or be an early-career candidate with strong analytical ability looking to build your experience in a commercial environment.
