Role Overview

This role is for a proactive Business Analyst who specializes in Power BI and focuses on business operations data such as finance and contracts. The person will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into clear, visually polished dashboards that support decision-making. It is not a passive reporting role—the candidate is expected to independently drive conversations, bring structure to ambiguous requirements, and deliver high-quality, executive-ready insights. Strong attention to detail, storytelling through data, and dashboard design are critical, along with the ability to confidently present insights to senior stakeholders. While experience in Power BI and business-facing analytics is essential, the team is also open to candidates with slightly less experience who are proactive, eager to learn, and can demonstrate their work through a portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in Power BI Dashboards
  • Gather requirements from finance, contracts, and operations teams
  • Build Power BI dashboards that explain trends, risks, and insights
  • Work with curated data sources (not building pipelines from scratch)
  • Translate complex data into simple, visual stories
  • Ensure dashboards are:
    • Accurate
    • Consistent
    • Easy to use
  • Continuously improve dashboard design and usability
  • Engage stakeholders regularly to refine outputs and drive adoption
  • Maintain documentation and follow governance standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
