About the Role
This is a key management role driving how Adult Social Care uses data, systems, and digital tools to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and efficient services.
You will lead the business intelligence and systems development functions, ensuring robust data, high‑quality insight, and effective system performance to support strategic decision‑making and service improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop BI and systems teams, building capability in SQL and data analytics
- Deliver high‑quality reporting, insight, and statutory returns
- Drive data transformation, integration, and automation to improve data quality and accessibility
- Oversee development and optimisation of Adult Social Care systems
- Lead digital transformation initiatives in partnership with corporate teams
- Provide analytical insight to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications
- Degree/degree level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence)
- Professional certification or equivalent experience in SQL, data analytics, BI tools, or system administration.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Expertise in data analytics and business intelligence
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives
- Ability to provide strategic analytical insights
