Jobs Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Engineer located in Glasgow. This role is crucial in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes, create and manage data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools, and analyse complex datasets to identify trends and patterns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and data warehousing.
- *Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Experience with data pipelines and stream or micro-batch processing to convert real-time events to business intelligence data-points.
- Experience in creating insightful data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Experience in analysing large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models.

Bonuses
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as BigQuery Studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or R.
